AERON is a total contractor of marine and industrial Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning, HVAC systems. We are a leading supplier of complete HVAC systems to the global shipping industry. Our headquarter is located in the Norwegian costal city of Flekkefjord.

History
Mr. Arvid Holmen founded Miljø-Teknikk in 1979. Initially, the company served as a local contractor of marine and industrial HVAC systems. The company gradually grew to be the leading Norwegian contractor of HVAC systems for ships. With our increasing international activities, we took the step to re-name the company we changed the name to Aeron in 2002. In july 2008 the norwegian company AF Gruppen ASA bought all the shares of Aeron. AF Gruppen ASA is one of the largest construction companies in Norway and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The acquisition of Aeron strengthens the AF Group's position within the business field of Energy. You may find more information about the AF group at their web pages www.afgruppen.com. Aeron has had a steady growth and the nice premises close to the ocean became too small. In the summer 2009 we moved to our new and nice premises just outside the city of Flekkefjord in Nulandsvika, where we have much space for further developement.

Aeron is Greek for air. Air is the base element in HVAC systems. The AERON logotype is a composition of arrows who symbolise the process of putting a multiplicity  of products together. These different bits transform into a comlete AERON HVAC system. The arrows in the logotype form a star who symbolises the AERON HVAC system. The AERON brand name is the customer's guarantee for the quality that goes into every single part of our systems
