AF Gruppen buys Aeron
Aeron has signed a Letter of Intent to sell 100 per cent of the shares in Aeron to
AF Gruppen (AFG). The acquisition strengthens AF`s position within the business field of Energy. For Aeron and the customer, the business will continue as normal and it gives Aeron an even better possibility to strengthen the business in the marine HVAC field.
In the press release the AF group says:
Aeron is a leading supplier of HVAC-systems (Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning) to the shipping industry. The company is the marked leader in Norway within its area of business, with an increasing part international trade. Aeron has its head office in Flekkefjord and had a turnover of 198 MNOK in 2007. The company has 43 employees, most of them with top competence within HVAC or electrical engineering.
- Aeron will increase the capacity within the energy related services of AF Gruppen. Through our ownership in Mollier AS, we are today a market leader on HVAC-systems to the Norwegian offshore sector. Through the agreement with Aeron, AF Gruppen will offer this type of services to the shipping industry as well, says Pål Egil Rønn, CEO of AF Gruppen.
