The seventh edition of INMEX India was held in Mumbai September 29th – October 1, 2011. INMEX is the premier maritime event in India and a common platform for the marine industry to interact with significant customers & key decision makers.

This year's Workboats Middle East event was officially opened by Awaidha Murshed Al Murar, director of shared services, ADNOC, along with Khalifa M. Sea Asia 2011, Asia’s premier maritime conference and exhibition had a fantastic showing in Singapore over 3 days from 12-14 April. This is the 3rd time the exhibition is being held.

Since 1998 Aeron has been a member to the 17-group of Norway. The group consists of 8 members and all companies are well known in the Maritime Sector.

Aeron has participated to INMEX India in 2007 and 2009. We have also visited several shipyards in India the last 3 years and finally we manage to get the first orders. It has taken some times to “break into India”, but a good technical solution to a competitive price has given AERON the possibility!

Aeron was represented at the 7th International Shipbuilding, Ports and Marine Equipment Exhibition for China. Together with members of The Norwegian Maritime Exporters, AERON had a stand to this exhibition for the first time.

The trip was arranged by Tecway International and Miss Tang Hua from the 17- Group Of Norway.

The new Area Sales Manager of AERON Mr. Anders Engslund Mikkelsen and Mr. Bjorn Tore Nyland has been visiting shipyards all over India and Sri Lanka. The responses from the shipyards have been very positive and we are looking forward to more corporations.

Aeron have been visiting Chinese shipyard together with our agents Horace Huang and Zhang Wen (Tecway International), Mr. Martin Nickelsen (17-Group of Norway) and Arne Søllesvik (Tranberg AS).

In March, 17 Group of Norway visited Shipowners & Design Companies in Denmark, in order to promote Norwegian equipment for ships.

Asia Pacific Maritime 2010 is an international maritime exhibition, eleventh in the biennial series. This exhibition is Asia’s premier maritime event and is the gateway to Asia’s maritime markets.

AERON participated to The 5th International Exhibition on Shipbuilding, Maritime Technology and Transportation - Vietship 2010

Aeron`s sales representatives have been travelling in Korea visiting shipyards. The visiting schedule was planned by Mr. Y.H.Lim, representing the company Enmao Corporation.

Marintec China, is the largest maritime conference and exhibition in Asia and it is arranged every second year in Shanghai. AERON has participating to the exhibition and this time we were also represented by our representative from our Shanghai office.

AERON is a member of the 17-Group Of Norway represented by our General Manager Mr. Martin Nickelsen. Together with other members and our Chinese representative, Tecway International LTD, AERON have been travelling around in China visiting Chinese shipyards / ship owners and ship designers.

INMEX India, the largest and the most recognized maritime event in South Asia was inaugurated by Her Excellency Ann Ollestad, Ambassador of Norway.

Aeron will participate in this year`s exhibition in Rio de Janeiro.
Mr. Aage Nygaard will be present at MACNOR`s stand throughout the event.Macnor Offshore LTDA has since 2002 represented Aeron in Brazil.

Aeron AS participated 9-12 June with a stand on the NME-pavilion.

Aeron will participate in the interactive sessions between Vietnamese and Norwegians partners, in Vung Tau 19 – 21 November, and in Hanoi 24 – 25 November.

Aeron together with 17-group members arranged a fishing trip for the Chinese delegation in Stavanger.

Aeron participated at SMM in Hamburg from 23 to 26 September. Aeron was located at the Norwegian pavilion B7 – 212 together with 63 other Norwegian companies.

AF Gruppen (AFG) har i dag, den 4. juli 2008, inngått endelig kjøpsavtale om kjøp av 100 % av aksjene i Aeron AS. Avtalen er basert på intensjonsavtalen som ble offentliggjort i en børsmelding 22. mai 2008.

Aeron has just signed a contract with SeaMetric International for delivery of complete ventilation and air-conditioning system to the two advanced heavy lifters that SeaMetric are building at China Petroleum Liaohe Equipment Company...

Yard number 279 from Ulstein Verft was delivered to Island Offshore 23 May, with the name seremony at Saturday 24 May 2008. Aeron has had the pleasure to deliver the complete Heating, Ventilation and Airconditioning - HVAC systems to this advanced vessel.

Aeron has secured 4 new orders with Aker Yards Trading for delivery of complete HVAC systems to 4 pcs. Anchor handling vessels of Aker Ship design type AH08. The vessels will be hull no 01, 02, 03 and 04 at Vuang Tau Shipyard in Vietnam.

Aeron participated at Vietship Exhibition in Vietnam from 11 to 14th March 2008. The exhibition was arranged in Vietnam Exhibition & Fair Centre in Hanoi. Aeron was located at the Norwegian Pavillion S2 together with 27 other norwegian companies.
