AERON HAVE BEEN VISITING SHIPYARDS IN SOUTH KOREA!
Aeron`s sales representatives have been travelling in Korea visiting shipyards.
The visiting schedule was planned by Mr. Y.H.Lim, representing the company Enmao Corporation.
Our trip started in Seoul and we had our first presentation to STX Shipbuilding Sales Engineers, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DMSE) and Samsung Floater Sales Engineering.
We continued our trip to STX Shipyard in Changwon and by car to the island Goje. We visit the two biggest shipyards in Goje, Samsung Shipbuilding and DMSE.
The last day we travelled to Busan and vist Hyundai Shipbuilding and Hyundai Mipo Dockyards. The world biggest shipyard, Hyundai Heavy Industries build in 2008 totally 180 vessels. Our trip ended in Ulsan and a visit to Sekwang SY, which is building Seismic, AHTS and MPSV. The Korean shipyards are mostly building commercial vessels, but some of the shipyards are also building offshore- and special ships.
We hope it is possible to “break into” the Korean marked after our visit. The trip was well organized by Mr. Lim and his connections to the “key persons” is very important to make success in this marked!
