Aeron secured 4 new orders to Aker Yards in Vietnam
Aeron has secured 4 new orders with Aker Yards Trading for delivery of complete HVAC systems to 4 pcs. Anchor handling vessels of Aker Ship design type AH08. The vessels will be hull no 01, 02, 03 and 04 at Vuang Tau Shipyard in Vietnam.
The order value for Aeron is appr. 8,5 mill NOK and is an important step for Aeron since Vietnam is a very interesting country where Aeron expect a great development in shipbuilding the coming years.
Aker Yards announced in January 2007 that the company is taking a strategic position in the fast growing Asian market for offshore vessels by setting up a shipyard in Vietnam. You may read more about the shipyard here
