Island Constructor delivered from Ulstein Verft AS
Yard number 279 from Ulstein Verft was delivered to Island Offshore 23 May, with the name seremony at Saturday 24 May 2008. Aeron has had the pleasure to deliver the complete Heating, Ventilation and Airconditioning - HVAC systems to this advanced vessel.
The ship is classified at Det Norske Veritas - DNV as a well intervention vessel with a ESD/F&G system. If there should be detected a gas leakage, the whole or part of the ship may ble totally closed. The fans and ventilation openings will automatically be closed by gas tight dampers. All the equipment including fans, starters, dampers and airconditioning systems with refrigeration machinery is delivered by Aeron AS. The corporation with Ulstein Shipyard has been very good during the project and the commissioning was finished successfully.
